Martial Law, it is the imposition of war machine rule by military authorities. For me, Ferdinand Marcos decl ard Martial Law because the conditions or situations in the Philippines in advance he declared Martial Law were disordered and unstable. resist and riots rock the capital, increase in the prices of gasoline and basic commodities, international control of the economy, graft and corruption in government, widening feast between rich and poor, not reform but violence, the governmental and economic crisis worsened, peso was devalued, unemployment rose, agriculture and industry slowed down for neat Marcos let those happen and did not make a gesture to view as a solution for the countrys problem. As a result, a conflict between Benigno Aquino junior and Ferdinand Marcos grew. Benigno Aquino Jr. became the mortal enemy of Ferdinand Marcos.
Based on the video we have watched, it is like Marcos made something that will like be his earth why he declared Martial Law. Based on the video, many improvements were made in his first term. He is considered as one of the brightest person in his generation because he was a top even if he was imprisoned but what happened is that he became greedy in power and doesnt asked to empower up his position as the president of our country.
There are many changes brought about by Martial Law by and by its declaration. They said Everything changes in the direction of progress. Some of which are the removal of the constabulary from mayors jurisdiction and put them down the stairs military, armed forces qualification expanded, fired nearly six thousand government employment. The police and the military were famed for their brutality. Amnesty International estimates that under the Marcos governance 10,000 were jailed, 34,000 were tortured and 3,240 were killed. This proves that Marcos have too much power that poisoned his hear and make him more greedy. The Filipinos face so many struggled under Marcos dictatorship government.
