In the prehistoric few years theres been a lot of controversy over whether or non modern day Australians should apologize for the past events of the stolen generation. This essay allow support the statement made by John Howard which was innovative Australians shouldnt be required to accept guilt and blame for past action. The reasons we shouldnt have to accept guilt and blame for past actions argon , we are not trusty for past actions, we directly had naught to do with it, we are impudently Australians, and we have made up for our wrong by granting them their rights.

The first reason as to why we should not have to apologize to the aboriginals is because we are not responsible for past action. The actions of past Australians towards the aboriginals during the stolen generation were horrible, we acknowledge that the aboriginals were treated unfairly, simply modernized Australians should not be held responsible for past actions. thus we should not have to apologize.

The second reason is, we directly had nothing to do with it, we werent virtually during the stolen generation, and thus we could not have inflicted whatever harm or damage towards the aboriginal volume. Leaving no reason for us to have to apologize.
Thirdly, we are all new Australians.



What this means is, people have migrated to Australia from different countries from all around the world. Why should these people, who had absolutely no involvement with the stolen generation, have to thumb guilty and apologize to the aboriginals?

Finally, we have made up for the wrongs of past Australians. After 1974 a referendum was held, and the people of Australia voted to have the aboriginal people as part of the census and granted them their rights to vote. Also, the government is support aboriginals with health facilities, housing, education and welfare allowances. This alone should be more than than enough of an apology.
