Book review of The Time Machine by H.G. Wells.

H. G. Wells The cartridge holder Machine explores the darker side of mankinds future that has succumbed to an extremely darwinistic evolution. We nonplus familiarized with the Time Traveler, the books main character, by means of a fictitious author who also remains nameless passim the text. The reader receives the story through second hand coitus which, once one has gotten into the story, becomes the first hand thoughts and experiences of the Time Traveler. Although she adds slender in the way of intellectual value to the story, Weena causes the reader to sympathize with the Eloi. H. G. Wells portrays a world full of life, but of the cardinal races that inhabit the future, the Morlocks and the Eloi, only Weena has enough significance to warrant comment.

The Time Machine begins with an introduction of a theory that, at the time, skint new ground, but we now accept as transparent truth. Due to the manner in which the author portrays the story to the reader, the terminal follows directly after the introduction. This then leads into the actual narrative of H. G. Wells story. In short, the plot of The Time Machine represents just a nonher reduplication of the epic battle between earnest and evil with a very uncomplicated love story thrown in to help endear the reader to the characters.
