Heifetz provides a great perspective of Adaptive Leadership in the text Leadership without easy answers. The book uptakes an analogy exploitation the scenario of a patient and a Doctor. The lack of resident participation could have been the dissolving agent of a number of issues. The problem could not be resolved with an answer that was technical.
