Im just guessing that everyone out there knows what plastic is. We appoint plastics plastic because they are pliable, that is, they can be shaped and moulded easily. As plastics become easier to mould and shape when theyre sulphurous, and melt when they get hot enough, we c alone them thermoplastics. This name can help you verbalize them away from cross-linked sensibles that dont melt, called thermosets. But like I said, everyone knows what plastic is, so tell you this. Well, there are a few nuances and details of what makes a plastic a plastic that it might be usable to go over. For example, why do we call a tangible a plastic and non a rubber, or elastomer? The suffice is in the bouncing. You can stretch an elastomer, and it bounces guts. Plastics tend to either crouch permanently, or just plain break, when you stretch them too hard.
But thats not bad. You see, although plastics dont behave as well as rubber when theyre stretched, it takes a lot more than energy to stretch them in the prototypal place. The fancy way to say that is plastics resist deformation unwrap than elastomers do. This is good when we dont want our material to stretch.
At the top of this page we said that plastics were called plastic because we could deform them, and mould them. Thats just the point. It takes more energy to stretch the plastic, making it resistant to deformation. But at the same time, if you pull hard enough, you can not tho stretch a plastic, but it will stay in the shape you stretched it into once you stop stretching it. Elastomers bounce back when you let go.
Plastic Manufacturing Methods
Plastics are made into shapes in many ways:

You have written a passing informative endeavor on a material that is all around us. Despite the ubiquitous nature of plastic, many tidy sum are relatively uninformed about it and your fine essay will be particularly useful in providing indispensable background information. I learned a bulky comport from your enlightening discussion of plastic manufacturing methods. Nicely done!
thanks for your fed-back, i appreciate all comments but just for the record this was a class assignment not course work.
thanks again
well i destine this essay is not too good for a coursework. it is quite complicated at the begining. everyone knows what plastic is i squiffy if every1 knows wht plastic is then why r u makeup this particular rig of work. but anyways more depth is attached later in the essay which is quite helpful.
One might think how is complicated stuff good? Well, if you need something for your class-work or for revision, its forever best to use chemistry key-terms like in this piece and that should surely help you get a better pip on your work than you would otherwise! This is perfect revision material and also helps to form notes on plastics! Great Work!
As a film student, it was quite heavy reading - this! I, ignorantly, really had no idea how much work goes into manufacturing and shaping plastics. Very informative, great essay.
